Future Jobs Fund

The Future Jobs Fund project provided support towards the provision of a Skills and Training Brokerage Service for participants working under the Future Jobs Fund (FJF) Programme.

The service helped to improve the employability and skills of each FJF participant through aligning a package of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), training and support towards progression opportunities.

Following a Task Group held on 20th September 2010, a discussion with Bedford Borough Council confirmed that more funds would be available to support the individual’s needs.

Advisors worked with individuals to best match the learning and training needs to funds available through the project or signposted and referred to other schemes.
