ESF Pre Entry Luton – Into Work Skills
The Learning Partnerships Pre Entry Luton programme provides unemployed and economically inactive adults with a learning gateway that supports and prepares them for access to volunteering and/or the world of work.
The project helps participants in deprived communities in Luton develop the skills needed to progress into work and acquire a first full Level 2 qualification. Adults who are ready to take this step are given initial advice and provided with a special programme of activities personalised to meet their particular needs.
The project has been extended to December 2011 following the award of additional funds to continue the support available at Pre Entry level to those living in Luton.
