ESF Pre Apprenticeship Support for Adults with Learning Disabilities 2011-13
The ESF Pre-Apprenticeship Support for Adults with Learning Disabilities project will offer the opportunity for adults with learning disabilities (ALD) to access a programme of bespoke training that provides not only individual support and mentoring but offers the training workshops they need in order to reinforce their personal skills development and support their employment aspirations.
Alighted to the National Apprenticeship Schemes official early stage activities we will provide a package of essential pre-placement training that is crucial for the participants smooth transition and successful progression into the full Apprenticeship scheme of their choice.
Working in liaison with local Apprenticeship consortia members to offer ALDs the crucial additional training and support that will help them develop the skills they will need to succeed in their chosen Apprenticeship or in employment.
In-depth Assessments, personalised training and reviews, ongoing mentoring and appropriate support are key elements underpinning the programme.
