ESF Signpost Project
The ESF Signposts-to-Learning project was running, the project is a partnership approach to brokerage led by the Learning Partnership Bedfordshire & Luton Ltd. The main partners were Bedfordshire Adult & Community Learning, New Age Training and Protech Training Ltd. Who provided adults without a Level 2 qualification, access to information and advice about their options and to a range of exciting first-step style tasters. Also providing the option of access to an enhanced advice session with links to further training. The project covered all of South Bedfordshire, focusing on Downside, Tithe Farm and Parkside, which are estates affected by multi-deprivation. A collaborative approach to planning and delivery enabled the partnership to develop a range of attractive, innovative tasters with embedded Skills for Life content which will be made available at venues in each of the communities.
