Youth Inspired

Youth Inspired is a Community Interest Company providing a range of courses for young people aged 16-25 and adults with learning difficulties or disabilities. The staff team are well qualified and have a wealth of experience enabling Youth Inspired to design and deliver high quality tailored programmes to suit the needs of learners. The following is a list of the programmes that we are currently delivering:

• Improving Choices – For 16-25 year olds with Lifelong Learning Difficulties or Disabilities (LLDD) providing training in personal and social development, independent living skills, vocational development and functional skills. This course is tailored around the individuals needs. The work is underpinned by National Open College Network (NOCN) qualifications registered on the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF).
• Fast Forward – A Foundation Learning programme for 16-19 year olds Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET). Focussed around the professional music studio software Cubase, Fast Forward provides training in music production up to Level 2. Training in personal and social development, functional skills and vocational development are all part of this programme. Qualifications are offered through Rockschool and NOCN both registered on the QCF.
• Step Towards – Short courses for adults with LLDD providing a choice of three pathways; Employment Skills, Healthy Living and Independent Living. Each course is delivered 1 day per week over 5 weeks throughout the year. A QCF registered accredited unit will be achieved by the end of each programme.

Across all the programmes we offer a high level of staffing which enables us to respond to individual needs, providing a safe and nurturing environment giving everyone with the best possible chance of success.

Youth Inspired is located in Bedford Town Centre, the offices have just been refurbished providing a range of excellent rooms and facilities to deliver our courses. We are now able to let rooms to other groups and organisations on a daily basis with different equipment and facilities available to suit your needs and budget.
