Diverse FM
Diverse FM is the Community Radio Station for Luton, Dunstable and Houghton Regis, we provide community media and community training for all the communities of those areas.
Diverse FM are currently working in partnership with the Learning Partnership to deliver a project for Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC) 2011/12
Diverse FM is the Community Radio Station for Luton, Dunstable and Houghton Regis, we provide community media and community training for all the communities of those areas.
We broadcast 24 hours a day on 102.8FM, our day time is a mix of Dance, RnB & current hits, in the evenings we broadcast a range of specialist music shows, community language shows and shows such as the Luton Town Show with dedicated coverage of all Luton Town games.
Our community training is open to people of all ages within our communities, with a range of short courses and full time courses, such examples are our full time foundation learning course which is designed for 16 to 19 years not currently in education, employment or training, we also run short radio courses throughout the year and we recently became a UK Online centre and can now offer free basic IT / Internet training every Wednesday 5pm – 8pm, and all our training is free to access.
