Bedfordshire African Community Centre (BACC) is a community organisation, based in Luton and Bedfordshire area, which aims to meet the needs of members of the African Communities and other BME’s living in the UK by assisting with information, advice, support and services that would enable them to integrate into the wider community and thus enjoy a better and sustainable lifestyle.
BACC does not discriminate nor does it favour groups of persons over others but rather it welcomes any individual that requires its support and assistance and is ready to extend its hand to all genuinely needy individuals and newcomers.

Programmes starting in January 2012:

ESOL & Employment Support for Migrants

ESOL classes and 1-2-1 sessions, delivered over a 12 week period, focussed on:

  • Skills assessment
  • Job search
  • CVs
  • Interview preparation
  • Overseas qualification comparison
  • Support & coaching to help you find a paid job

All Tutors & Advisers are bi-lingual, qualified and experienced. Classes are fully funded- subject to availability and eligibility.

BACC Job Club

BACC offers a programme of free workshops aimed at increasing confidence and skills needed for employment.
Time 11 – 2 pm every Wednesday at the office
