Autism Bedfordshire
Providing information, advice, guidance and support to children and adults with autistic spectrum conditions and their families.
Have worked with The Learning Partnership on both the DASL (Dancing, Acting, Singing, Learning) and NLDC (Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities) projects.
Founded by parents of autistic children, Autism Bedfordshire is an independent charity funded by grants and donations providing much needed support and services across Bedfordshire and Luton.
A practical and flexible range of services are provided for adults with autism:
- A helpline service
- Regular newsletter
- Respite care
- Activity groups
- Adult education programmes
- Training events
- Personalised support
A library of over 500 books, DVD’s and resources is also accessible for all members of Autism Bedfordshire.
