Campus Luton

Campus Luton is the new big idea that captures the vision for secondary education in Luton. It will mean that all of the individual institutions and partner organisations that provide education, training and care to young people will assume a shared responsibility for the quality of educational provision and its outcomes.
This exciting innovative approach is based on the belief that by working together collaboratively we can make a real difference to the lives of young people and to the community of Luton as a whole.
Campus Luton is built on collaboration and partnership, Campus Luton will:
- Engage and inspire young people by offering them access to exciting learning opportunities.
- Deliver high quality education, training and care.
- Establish a learning community in which people are proud to work and learn.
- Place Luton in the forefront of educational innovation.
- Provide a wide range of academic and vocational curriculum opportunities where young people may study at venues other then their home school.
- Prepare young people for adult life.
11-19 Strategy
The Campus Luton Vision is underpinned by the 11-19 strategy which aims to:
- Raise the standards achieved by young people.
- Ensure the highest quality of education, training and care for all young people aged 11-19 in Luton, enabling them to benefit from the five outcomes of the Children's Bill and to develop attitudes, values, skills and knowledge they need for adult life.
- Deliver personalised learning for every young person to meet their individual needs.
- Promote social cohesion and pride in Luton by providing a wide range of opportunities for all young people in which they can succeed and have their achievement recognised.
- Provide an agreed basis on which partners can develop a collaborative approach to high quality educational provision in Luton over the next 5 years and beyond.
