Neighbourhood Learning in Depreived Communities (NLDC)
Celebration Event

The event was held as an opportunity to celebrate the good work and success achieved through the Skills Funding Agency’s NLDC fund, across Bedfordshire and Luton, over the last 10 months.

During 2010-11 NLDC funding supported eight Third Sector organisations to deliver projects across the county. The ‘Celebrating Success’ event gave these organisations the chance to come together to share their stories and reflect on the achievements made possible by the funding.

Each organisation gave a presentation about their project and this year saw an unprecedented number of learners stand up and speak about their own experience and learning journey.

Attendees at the event included staff and learners, friends and family from all of the organisations in receipt of NLDC funding for 2010-11, members of the Learning Partnership staff and individuals invited from the wider Partnership network.
