The Learning Partnership ESF Pre Entry Luton programme provides unemployed and economically inactive adults with a learning gateway that will support and prepare them for access to volunteering and/or the world of work. The project will help participants in deprived communities in Luton to develop the skills needed to progress into work and acquire a first full level 2 qualification. Adults who are ready to take this step will be given initial advice and provided with a special programme of activities personalised to meet their particular needs.
This innovative approach involves working closely with employers to source employment opportunities and with learners themselves to design appropriate training that fits the individual for the vacancies available to improve their chances of success of finding employment.
