Adult Learners’ Week

Adult Learners’ Week is all about celebrating outstanding adult learners - those who have changed their lives through learning and become an inspiration to others to give learning new skills a real go.

The awards celebrate learning in all its forms, giving deserved recognition to inspirational adults.  There are two main award categories:

  • Outstanding Individual Learner
  • Inspiring Learning Projects

Two local events are being organised for the Adult Learners’ Week Awards 2011 – one hosted in Bedford on the 19th May and one in Luton on the 20th May.

Everyone nominated will receive a certificate of achievement.  Winners will receive a learning voucher valued between £200 and £1.000, and will be invited with their nominator to a ceremony during Adult Learners’ Week (14th – 20th May 2011).

For information on this prestigious event, please visit The Learning Partnership’s Adult Learners’ Week website.

Adult Learners’ Week always likes to hear from past winners of the awards, so if you are, or know of a previous winner, then please contact Adult Learners’ Week at 20@alw.org.uk or by phoning 01162 044200.
