Stephen Ferris
Biography
Stephen is the Executive Director of the Learning Partnership. He has worked in adult education for nearly 20 years and has experience in managing e-learning provision and as a founder of a joint venture company, which developed a virtual learning environment. He also has experience of project managing European projects under the EU Socrates programmes.
Responsibilities
Stephen advises the Board on the strategic direction of the Partnership, prepares the business plan, works with partners to develop new projects and to promote the contribution of learning to the wider agendas around economic growth and regeneration. Stephen is also responsible for managing the staff of the Learning Partnership.

Vanda Bailey
Biography
Vanda joined the Learning Partnership in a supporting role when Learning Partnerships were launched in 2000, and is employed as the Project Manager. Previous experience has been in both the private and public sector primarily in Human Resources, responsible for recruitment and training.
Responsibilities
Vanda's main role is to manage the delivery of community partnership projects the Learning Partnership engages with, providing support, guidance and steer to ensure their success against specified criteria. She works closely with the community and voluntary sector to bring together collaborative working, identifying issues and potential opportunities to maximise on the impact of learning to support neighbourhood renewal.

Carole Pullinger
Biography
Carole is employed as the Business Services Manager of the Learning Partnership. She has worked in local government since 1999 in the roles of Finance Assistant for Adult Education (Bedfordshire County Council) and Administrator of the Information, Advice & Guidance Partnership (Luton Borough Council).
Responsibilities
Carole is responsible for managing the overall administrative functions of the Partnership and Company, including contracts for projects, finance, company activities, external correspondence, premises, office management, personnel and HR related matters.

Lorainne Lunn
Biography
Lorainne is employed part time as a Project Co-ordinator for the Learning Partnership. Lorainne has worked part time in education and adult learning for the past seven years working as a part-time teacher to LD and ESOL students. Lorainne has undertaken a range of project work for many years within the office environment.

Lorainne is currently working on the NLDC Projects and the Funding Exchange Wiki.

Chris Cooper
Biography
Chris is employed full-time as Adult Skills Project Co-ordinator with the Learning Partnership. Chris has worked within Bedfordshire learning providers for 9 years with 5 half years spent in further education providing learning solutions for community groups and business.
Responsibilities
Chris is employed as a Project Co-ordinator on the liC Project for adult skills for Bedfordshire and Luton through a partnership approach, which involves local learning providers working together to deliver agreed targets. Through the project Chris conducts site visits to observe and discuss partner contributions on the project as well as his involvement with the 2007-11 Business Plan including the erection of a new skills building on the Kingsland site.

Sue Stevenson
Biography
Sue is employed as the Administrator of the Learning Partnership. Sue has worked in local government for the last four years at the LSC.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include secretarial and admin support to the partnership and maintain the company database. Sue also prepares the bi-monthly newsletter and organises partnership events and public activities.

Cindy Armstrong
Biography
Cindy is employed as a Project Co-ordinator for the Learning Partnership. Previous experience has been in both the private and public sector with varied roles in administration management and project co-ordination.
Responsibilities
Cindy is employed as project Co-ordinator on a regional ESF funded project which facilitates the conversion of migrant worker qualifications to a UK equivalent across the East of England. She also co-ordinates the ESF funded, Skills for Jobs project which involves local partners working together to deliver a range of projects which directly link skills and employment.

Kevin McIlhagga
Biography
Kevin is employed as a Project Co-ordinator for the Learning Partnership. Kevin worked for the Learning Skills Council (LSC) for 5 years as a member of the Inclusion & Access Team. His main responsibilities covered a range of activities:including Equality & Diversity and LLDD. Recently Kevin worked on the Mayflower Project offering learners with LD's improved opportunities to access local learning provision. Spending 2 years working for a Work Based Training Provider and the main responsbilities were to co-ordinate the Mayflower Project representing the learners on the all-agency LSC Placement Panel, co-ordinating ESF and other bids activities.
