Quality Assurance

The Learning Partnership's quality assurance policy is to:

  1. Comply with LSC quality statements.
  2. Ensure quality is the responsibility of all staff.
  3. Monitor and review all provision regularly.
  4. Focus on learners with the provision of quality training and assessment to meet their needs.
  5. Review all policy documents annually.
  6. Audit the Quality System annually.
  7. Document the Quality System in a Quality System Manual available to all staff.
  8. Ensure that partners not using LP policies and standards have their own in place.

Objectives

To achieve this aim the Learning Partnership will work towards:

  • Ensuring its subcontractors understand the standards required by the Learning Partnership in pursuance of their contract.
  • Producing model procedures and documentation for sub-contractors to follow.
  • Setting up procedures for undertaking internal audits and following up deficiencies identified.
  • Establishing a rigorous complaints procedure, which is reviewed.
  • The regular and frequent involvement of partners in the development of the Learning Partnership and its activities in Bedfordshire and Luton.
  • Involving partners in the process of self-assessment and in the regular review of the development plan.
  • The regular review of performance.
  • The regular review of learner satisfaction associated with Learner Partnership activity and terms of reference.
  • Regular analysis of comparative performance data from other areas, and sharing these analyses with partners.

Quality assurance procedures include self-assessment and development planning procedures and inspection visits.  The quality assurance system is overseen by the Executive Director and reviewed by the Board annually.
