Mission and Values
The mission of the Learning Partnership is based on social inclusion and widening participation in learning. We aim to open up learning opportunities for all within Bedfordshire and Luton, irrespective of race, religion, age, ability or sexual orientation.
We attempt to achieve this mission by:
- Working with and supporting a network of organisations in adult learning that are accessible and offer support to learners whatever their starting point. We have identified and continue to identify facilities based in deprived communities.
- Developing learning opportunities that are flexible and attractive to learners who often have low levels of initial skills and confidence.
Our policy is to research and stimulate recruitment and support practices for new learners that are designed to appeal to people from all backgrounds and achievements and thus to achieve greater social inclusion.
