The Learning Partnership (LP) was established in 2000 and its purpose is to promote provider collaboration in support of lifelong learning and to maximise the contribution of learning to local regeneration.  The aim is to make Bedfordshire and Luton, a better place to live and work by helping to widen participation to learning for all, regardless of when, where or how people choose to learn.



FREE COURSE: Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Sector (PTLLS)

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for those interested in gaining the new entry qualification for teaching, ‘Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Sector (PTLLS)’. The course is aimed at those working for organisations in the voluntary and community sector.  The project intention is for the course to commence on 8th July 2008 and to run until September 2008, for 14 weeks and will be free of charge.  Please apply before 3rd July 2008.

Adult Learners Week 2008 Bedfordshire & Luton Awards

The event was held at the Barns Hotel, Bedford on Wednesday 21st May 2008.    Beverley Trotman (X Factor Star) was the guest at the awards ceremony and she flew the flag for the local area. The awards celebrated the local achievement and recognised the good practice in the field of learning across Bedfordshire and Luton.
